Der Parasound A 52+ 5-Kanal-Endverstärker basiert auf der äußerst erfolgreichen A 52 Endstufe und bietet signifikante Verbesserungen bei der Leistungsabgabe, Verbesserungen der Schaltkreise und das neueste Halo-Design. Das neue Modell erhöht die verfügbare Leistung von 125 auf 180 Watt pro Kanal auf 8 Ohm und 255 Watt auf 4 Ohm, auch wenn alle Kanäle angesteuert werden.

Wie bei seinem Vorgänger ist der Parasound Halo A 52+ das Werk der Audio-Legende John Curl: Class A/AB mit hoher Vorspannung und direkt gekoppelte Schaltungstopologie. „Die A 52 hatte von 2003 bis 2012 einen großartigen Lauf“, sagte Richard Schram, Präsident und Gründer von Parasound. Der Parasound Halo A 52+ verfügt über einen größeren, maßgeschneiderten Toroid-Leistungstransformator, um eine höhere Leistung zu erzielen. Es verfügt über fünf unsymmetrische Cinch- und fünf symmetrische XLR-Eingänge, ein separates Modul für jeden Kanal, DC-Servos und Relais zum Schutz des Verstärkers und der Lautsprecher. Weitere Merkmalen sind das automatische Einschalten, ein 3U-Gehäuse (mit hinteren Tragegriffen), das mit optionalen Adaptern im Rack montiert werden kann.

Der Parasound Halo A 52+ hat eine schwarz eloxierte, extrudierte Frontplatte mit Endkappen aus massivem Aluminium (auch im Silber-Finish erhältlich), die gefräst und von Hand poliert werden. Er repräsentiert so die moderne und hochwertige Halo-Ästhetik.
